Tickets to this SOUPer event include a souvenir wine glass and $5 for each ticket sold is being donated the local food banks coordinated by Leelanau Christian Neighbors. Toast to the great chefs of tomorrow and help make culinary education possible for students enrolled at Northwestern Michigan College’s Great Lakes Culinary Institute (ranked #11 in the US) while enjoying a strolling dinner of international cuisine with local wine, craft beers, and more. All proceeds from this delicious event, prepared by GLCI’s talented students, benefit student scholarships. You’ll also have the opportunity to win amazing gift packages, support GLCI scholarships, and participate in supportive efforts.

Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is located in Northwestern Lower Michigan along the shores of Lake Michigan.

TART Trails // Leelanau Trails
This 15 mile paved bike trail is just 1/2 a mile from Leelanau Chalets.
Shaped in the form of two basins, the north and south, Lake Leelanau offers walleye anglers two very different lakes: South Lake Leelanau and North Lake Leelanau. The two basins are connected by a natural channel.
South Lake Leelanau is the shallower of the two basins. Over 11 million walleyes have been stocked in South Lake Leelanau in the past five years. The bottom is a mix of sand and gravel.
North Lake Leelanau, meanwhile, has depths of over 120′. Known for its trophy brown trout, North Lake Leelanau also provides good walleye fishing.
