Lake Leelanau

We enjoyed our stay at this VRBO property. It is an older cottage, but it has a nice, secluded location, which was quiet and peaceful. When we were at the cottage, we spent most of our time on the back deck. One thing, it was a beautiful weekend and quite warm.

Quaint cottage on the Narrows

My family and friends had a great time using this quaint little cottage near the Narrows as a base to explore the Leelanau Peninsula for easy access to hikes, wine, and food. We enjoyed the spacious living room accommodations to gather in the evening and talk. We use the fire pit outside and the relaxing front porch. Happy to have all linens provided unlike some other VRBOs. Rental was also very accommodating for two dogs. The only thing that was slightly off putting when pulling up to the property, was the neighbors yard, which you can see is actively undergoing improvements and clean up. However once we saw how well maintained the property was we were more than pleased with our accommodations. Happy to have chosen this spot and likely will stay again if available for future trips to the Leelanau Peninsula!

Leelanau cottage

We had a lovely time at this cottage. It has a spacious living room area, a great deck, & large yard. We took our dogs, & walked them around the area, which was very pleasant. Connie, from Leelanau cottages & chalets, was very helpful. Hope to stay there again!

Labor Day

Walked to coffee every morning, went to Boat House Winery Martha's in Suttons Bay and North Country with Elfie the dog! The dock was convenient for our boat, the yard large and cottage comfortable.

Great Family Cabin in The Narrows

First time my family and I had visited the Lake Leelanau area and we were not disappointed. What a great getaway! We spent 4 nights at The Narrows cabin. The cabin was perfect for us and had everything we needed. The location was perfect... short walk into town for groceries at NJs. Was also able to enjoy our first live music in awhile on the big lawn at Boathouse Vineyards in town. Also was great being so close to Suttons Bay for nice dining options... only about a 10 min drive from the cabin. Cabin was super clean and came equipped with all we needed. Nice touch that they even had several bundles of wood ready for us to use at the fire pit. We brought our boat and was great being able to use their boat slip which was super close and right down the gravel path from the cabin. Definitely recommend and will book again when we return to the Narrows.
